Definition
The violation of copyright is the use without permission of material protected by copyright (text or image) that violates one (or several) exclusive rights of the owner of the material, like the right for material reproduction.
Lappiz.com considers violation of copyright not only the use without consent of the materials protected under the Law, but also content inspired or quoted when the quotation rules are not fully accomplished (reference to the source with mention to the title of the publication, author, date, publisher, website, city, and/or country, according to the type of the material). Please note that the availability of notes, summaries, and exercises, academic works, theses, etc, must be always done in respect with the authors, even in cases when these are not formally protected under Copyright rules.

Detection of violation of copyright

- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to represent the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- The identification of the work with copyright protection that has been allegedly violated.
- Identification of the infringing or infringed material that should be removed. Please do not forget to mention the URL where the material is located.
- Contacts of the person holding the copyright.
Violation of copyright
In the case copyright is infringed lappiz.com may notice the user who’s responsible for this violation so that this situation is corrected.
Lappiz.com has the right to remove content that violate copyright with or without notice to the user that uploaded that content or to the other registered users at lappiz.com.
Seegno Lda and Innovation Point S.A. may, according to the Law, report the violation of copyright to the legal authorities and, in this case, the companies may provide users’ personal information as provided by Law.
Lappiz.com has the right to exclude users that violate copyright.
